Sourcing

Our recruiters source candidates from various appropriate job boards (CareerBuilder, monster, Dice, LinkedIn, or sector-related sites), as well as from responses to job postings and internal database searches. Working U.S. hours to communicate easily with available candidates, our recruiters conduct preliminary candidate interaction, pre-screening, and pre-qualification.

Night Sourcing

The sourcing team will source candidates from job boards (CareerBuilder, Monster, Dice, LinkedIn) during your night, depending on time zone, and will email or upload candidate information into your ATS system.

Dedicated Recruiter

Upon request, your dedicated recruiter will source candidates from various appropriate job boards (CareerBuilder, monster, Dice, LinkedIn, or sector-related sites), as well as from responses to job postings and internal database searches. Working U.S. hours to communicate easily with available candidates, our recruiters can conduct preliminary candidate interactions, pre-screening, pre-qualification, rate/salary negotiations, resume formatting, offer-making, contracting, and related paperwork.

Together, AGSI’s co-founders, Scott Kuethen and Jay Ramos, have 45 years’ combined experience in making great hires. Add to that Amtec’s proven hiring process, and you get an efficient sourcing and recruiting partner your rruiting team can trust to deliver predictable, high-quality results!

Scott Kuethen, Co-founder

Scott’s life purpose is helping people find meaning in their work and find meaningful work. He brings nearly three decades of team building and professional recruiting experience focused on people, organizations, and individuals’ contributions to organizational and personal success. Armed with experience from thousands of interviews and placements, Scott’s insights into the factors that create mutual value for people and organizations form a set of talent acquisition and management principles that apply to individuals, their careers, and organizational leadership.

Scott is the CEO at Amtec, Inc., a professional recruiting organization with nationwide operations and an international office in the Philippines. Amtec specializes in placing professional people in a variety of disciplines, industries, and companies ranging from small entrepreneurial start-ups to the fortune 100. He is also the co-founder of AGSI, an offshore recruiting company that provides cost-effective, high-quality, flexible services to U.S. companies.

Scott is married to his girlfriend of over 30 years. Together, Scott and Marci have two adult children, a daughter-in-law, and their first grandchild. Scott received his undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands and is currently completing his Executive MBA from the Drucker School of Business in Claremont. Scott enjoys consulting, teaching, and writing in the areas of talent acquisition and selection, organizational planning, and business management. In his spare time, Scott enjoys photography, SCUBA diving, swimming, flying his quad copter, and other activities designed to keep him young-minded.

Jay Ramos, Co-founder

Jay Ramos has over a decade of staffing experience focused on sales, recruiting, operations, and people-development. Once he received an undergraduate degree from Cal State Fullerton University, his sense of humor and love of people landed him a job as a recruiter at Amtec, Inc. The job proved to be a perfect fit. Jay has since been consistently recognized for his outstanding personal production levels, notably achieving CEO Club status in 2006 and 2007. Now a working executive and staffing company owner, Jay has served on the board of California Staffing Professionals (CSP) as a State Director, President, Vice President, and Treasurer for the Orange County Chapter, from which he received the much-coveted Orange County Staffing Professional of the Year Award in 2009.

Jay is the President of Amtec, a professional recruiting organization with nationwide operations and an international office in the Philippines. Amtec specializes in placing professional people in a variety of disciplines, industries, and companies ranging from small start-ups to fortune 100 companies. He is also the co-founder of AGSI, an offshore recruiting company that provides cost-effective, high-quality, flexible services to U.S. companies.

Jay has been married to Christine for 12 years, and they have a pre-teen daughter. Jay finds great fulfillment in helping companies grow and watching the people whom he has mentored grow into amazing leaders. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, boating, swimming, SCUBA diving, and traveling the world.
